Put the public notice in all the buses and on the major stops so that riders can know about the changes before they take effect and to be able to have a say. If the only way that the Cap Metro is going to advertise these public hearing is through there website. This is not very public, because the marority of riders either doing have a computer or access to a computer. This tells me that Cap Metro doesn't want the riders to know what is going on.

Many thanks for the suggestion. We actually already do this for any change to transit service. Notices in English and Spanish are posted in the message centers of our vehicles, and at impacted transit stops. Is there a specific example of when you believe this kind of notice was not provided?

On your Veolia contracted routes. And the meetings regarding the Project Connect were ONLY found on the Express Route 983. Thousands missed the meeting at Dobie M.S. which was yesterday regarding more taxpayer funded rails we don't want. Also the 3 Route on Friday evening had no schedules, no notice of Project Connect's CAMPO slushrail idea, and no worthless system maps. CM employees need to ride the buses including the drivers and I am not just talking about the 17 Cesar Chavez, 18 MLK, or the 5 Woodrow. Instead of the carpool you at the layover.

I have never send this in the # 142 Metric Flyer or at the bus stops at 11th and Congress which sometimes uses the UT buses.

Veolia might operate the 142, but they don't follow Cap Metro instructions very well. I have been riding the 142 for 6 years and they have never posted the public meeting except for proposed route changes.

I noticed on the website that they are holding public hearing on the 15th, 16, & 17th of July. I didn't see them posted on the Metric Flyer on Wednesday, I hope that Cap Metro will inform the riders by putting the notices of these hearings on the buses and at the major stops.

Don't count on it. I will buy a scratch off ticket at the corner store if they do.

Thank you for your comment. Notices in English and Spanish were posted in the message centers of our vehicles as of Sunday July 7th.

How about having the notices on flyers, instead of just one behind the message centers. I guess you don't want persons with Alzheimers to ride the bus or no about the service changes. Talk about throwing granny of the cliff.
